A sample of the paper used for my Survival Manual Energy (Editor's brilliant idea Science Express). The "Shiro Alga Carta" is on the market for just over ten years and has originated from a particular episode in 1989 on the recommendation of the Water Authority of Venice, in collaboration with the Consorzio Venezia Nuova, began collecting algae to prevent oxygenation of the lagoon and the subsequent death of aquatic organisms. It was necessary to devise new methods of disposal and recycling of large amounts of algae and stands out among the many solutions that to use in the manufacture of paper, as a partial replacement of cellulose, thanks to the support of the LIFE project from which you obtained the necessary funding. The first sample of Alga Carta in 1993.
